Job Description :
A position within a major telecoms company has become available for a project manager (immediate start is a must for handover):
Essential skills and experience: Current Network infrastructure project management experience within a Telecommunications environment. ·Experience of working on projects that span multi-disciplinary areas covering at the minimum networks and IT areas. ·Experience of concurrently managing multiple projects of differing size and complexity to meet business expectations.
Ideally, you will also have: A good knowledge of voice and data networks ·A good knowledge of OSS and business process re-engineering ·Comprehensive understanding of project & programme management lifecycles. ·Experience of managing network build and update projects, utilizing Italtel, Cisco, Nortel, Ericsson, and Alcatel technologies.
Key Accountabilities include: ·Delivery of all projects to time, quality and cost ·Reporting against progress, finance status and resource commitment. ·Hold regular progress meetings, stakeholder update meetings, stage review meetings and closure meetings. ·Matrix management of all assigned resource across company including 3rd parties as appropriate.
